iST, with its expertise in verification and analysis, actively collaborates with industry partnerships to help students understand the latest industry technologies during their academic years. Through this, students can accumulate their imagination of the future workplace. iST contributes to the cultivation of industry talents and practice the concept of enhancing the sustainable work capabilities of youth as a social feedback.
The participants of this visit are senior and graduate students from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National United University who are currently facing the decision of “continuing their studies or entering the workforce.”
In order to expose students to industry knowledge beyond textbooks, iST invited Dr. Bow Zhongxing, a top authority in TEM in Taiwan, to introduce the latest nanoscale material analysis techniques to the students. The lecturers in the laboratory also shared their years of working experience through humorous expressions. In addition to introducing instrument functionalities, they also showcased various possibilities of practical applications in the industry, allowing students to experience the joy beyond classroom learning.
Seeing students laughing and diligently taking notes, we can tell that they must have gained a lot from this trip~
